DESCRIPTION: Grohe, a Paris, an ornate, renaissance revival, gilt bronze and porcelain mounted mantel clock, the case resting on gryphon and scroll feet, with dome top and fruit filled urn finial, and replete with rococo and renaissance revival ornament, the panels in the manner of Jacob Petit, with blue ground, and gilt bordered, floral vignettes, the front with a shepherdess in a landscape playing a flute below the roman numeral dial with floral wreath, fancy gilt hands, 8 day, two train pendule de Paris movement striking on a bell
CONDITION: very dirty, retains much of its original gilding, decorated panels very good, minute hand replaced, movement clean, runs and strikes
